Job Type: Full-time, Permanent 

Schedule: 

  • 8/12-hour shift over 7-day rosters 

Role & responsibilities

During the season, you’ll ensure attractions, services, and facilities are maintained and functioning efficiently. You’ll work flexibly within the Maintenance Department and collaborate with other teams. You’ll implement the preventative maintenance program, carrying out planned/unplanned maintenance on Mechanical Attractions and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. You’ll also address recurring technical issues.

In the off-season, you’ll handle pre/post repairs, including fibre repairs and spraying of body panels. You’ll complete non-trade specific tasks as needed and participate in Safety and Environmental training, adhering to safety practices and company rules.

Requirements

A qualification in fibreglass/panel beating is a plus. Working at height is essential, with full training provided. Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and reporting skills are required, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You should be able to take the lead on maintenance issues and work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility with shift changes and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are important. A proven track record in your current role is essential. This role requires both panel beating and mechanical skills, with a preference for candidates proficient in both.
