Emerald Park is the park situated at Kilbrew, Ashbourne, Co. Meath

All persons entering Emerald Park (“Entrants”) do so subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).

1. Tickets

1.1 Save as otherwise permitted by Emerald Park, all Entrants must pay for admission. Any person attempting to gain admission without a valid ticket will be refused entry and/or removed from Emerald Park and be barred from re-entry.

1.2 Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Emerald Park reserves the right to increase or decrease ticket prices at any time. The prices of tickets purchased online are as stated in Entrant’s confirmation email. Refunds will not be given due to weather.

1.3 Proof of payment must be available at all times by Entrants during their visit to Emerald Park and submitted for inspection if required by any employee or agent of Emerald Park. Failure to provide a valid ticket may result in removal from Emerald Park.

1.4 All guests booked on a single booking reference must be processed together. Emerald Park will not process booking references separately.

1.5After leaving Emerald Park, Entrants are not eligible for re-entry unless issued a re-entry pass from the admissions team .

2. Wristbands

2.1 Wristbands are an important part of the health and safety system in Emerald Park. They provide an indication as to where entrants can safely use rides. As such, wristbands are non-transferable and non-refundable.

2.2 Wristbands must be worn/retained at all times by Entrants during their visit to Emerald Park and submitted for inspection if required by any employee or agent of Emerald Park. Failure to provide a valid wristband may result in removal from Emerald Park. Wristbands are only valid subject to guest meeting the Health and Safety requirements of the Rides and Attractions. These include but are not limited to height, weight, and various medical restrictions.

3. Conduct of Visitors

3.1 Emerald Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry to, or remove from Emerald Park or the vicinity without refund, any person who: –

3.1.1 Behaves in a manner which, in the opinion of Emerald Park, its employees, contractors or agents, has affected or is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of, or cause annoyance, danger or distress to, other Entrants or damage to property.

3.1.2 Uses threatening, intimidating, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace.

3.1.3 Appears, in the opinion of an employee, contractors or agent of Emerald Park , to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

3.1.4 Takes photos, videos, or otherwise records either guests and/or employees without their specific permission to do so. Any individual who does this will be asked to leave Emerald Park; or

3.1.5 For any other reason at the sole discretion of Emerald Park, its employees, contractors, or agents.

3.2 A person to whom Terms 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4 or 3.1.5 applies will be liable for any damage caused or expenses incurred by their behaviour.

3.3 Smoking or vaping E cigarettes , is only prohibited within designated areas of Emerald Park.

3.4 Only food and beverages purchased in Emerald Park may be consumed in Emerald Park.

3.5 Pets or animals of any nature (except for guide , hearing or registered Assistance Dogs) are expressly prohibited in Emerald Park. For specific information on what types of dogs qualify as Assistance Dogs in Emerald Park and are allowed entry, please contact Emerald Park prior to your arrival onsite.

3.6 All persons acknowledge that they are under a duty of care to take reasonable steps to ensure their own safety and that of any person accompanying them, taking into account age, capacity and ay medical conditions.

3.7 All persons in and around Emerald Park must behave in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

3.8 Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years or over whilst visiting Emerald Park

4. Opening of Attractions and Displays

4.1 Emerald Park will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that its attractions and displays are open for use by Entrants during its normal opening hours. However, Emerald Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close Emerald Park or any part of it.

4.2 In the event of closure of Emerald Park, Emerald Park will refund the cost of prepaid tickets purchased specifically for dates on which Emerald Park is closed only.

4.3 Other than in accordance with Term 4.2, Emerald Park shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out-of-pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of Emerald Park.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Other than liability for Death or Personal injury resulting from the negligence of Emerald Park, its employees or agents, Emerald Park, shall not be liable to entrants for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising. Emerald Park shall not be liable for any entrant’s property lost or damaged at Emerald Park and such property is at the sole risk of the entrant.

6. Events Outside the Control of Emerald Park

6.1 Emerald Park is not liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations caused by events outside its reasonable control.

6.2 It must be understood that for operational, technical, weather related or other reasons beyond our control, any attraction may have to be closed, removed, altered in type or otherwise be unavailable at any time due to inclement weather, technical issues or otherwise without prior notice.

6.3 In the event of closure of Emerald Park, Emerald Park will refund the cost of prepaid tickets purchased specifically for dates on which Emerald Park is closed only. Emerald Park shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out-of-pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of Emerald Park .

7. Governing Law

7.1 These Terms and all disputes and issues between Emerald Park and an Entrant arising out of or in any way relating to these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Emerald Park and Entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

8 . 2023 Black Friday Tickets-Terms & Conditions of Promotional offer

8.1 Black Friday Tickets are limited availability and are strictly while stocks last. Emerald Park Reserves the right to end the limited Black Friday Ticket Sale at any time

8.2 All tickets purchased in this offer must be used by November 5th 2024.

8.3 Tickets will not be extended, exchanged, or refunded.

8.4 All visits must be pre-booked online, and used in one transaction, tickets will not be split or replaced.

8.5 Attractions are seasonal and opening times will differ depending on the time of your visit. All attractions are subject to height, weight, seasonal and weather restrictions.

8.6 Black Friday Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discounts.

8.7 Black Friday Tickets cannot be used for dedicated events such as Corporate Events, Halloween, Christmas or School Tours.

9. 2024 Black Friday Tickets-Terms & Conditions of Promotional offer

9.1 Black Friday tickets offer 2024 can only be redeemed throughout our 2025 season.

9.2 All tickets purchased in this offer must be used before November 2nd, 2025.

9.3 Tickets will not be extended, exchanged or refunded.

9.4 All visits must be pre-booked online, and used in one transaction, tickets will not be split or replaced.

9.5 Attractions are seasonal and opening times will differ depending on the time of your visit. All attractions are subject to height, weight, seasonal and weather restrictions.

9.6 This ticket cannot be used in conjunction with special events such as Corporate Events, Halloween, Christmas, and School Tours

10 Gift Card/Voucher Terms & Conditions

10.1 A gift card/voucher is valid for 5 years from date of purchase. After this period, the card cannot be used to purchase any items, and any used balance will be lost and will not be recoverable by the cardholder under any circumstances. To check your balance please visit emeraldpark.ie

10.2 Emerald Park Gift card/voucher are redeemable online on www. Emeraldpark.ie or in Emerald Park during operational hours. They are redeemable towards Entry tickets, Emerald Park memberships or will be accepted as payment at any Official Emerald Park food, beverage, or retail outlet. External venders or pop-up outlets may be excluded.

10.3 Emerald Park Gift card/voucher can be used for full or part payment. No change will be given, and any remaining balance will stay on the gift card.

10.4 Emerald Park Gift card/voucher are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged for cash

10.5 Gift card/voucher should be treated like cash. Emerald Park is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards.

10.6 Physical Gift Cards will be sent to the delivery address stated on the individual order. Orders sent by Registered post will require a signature on arrival.

10.7 Digital Gift Cards will be sent to the email address stated in the individual order. Dispatch will usually be immediate but could be up to 48 hours after receipt of payment.

10.8 Physical Gift Cards will normally be dispatched within three working days unless a specified delivery period is stated. However, during busy periods dispatch can take up to 7 working days.

10.9 Emerald Park has the right to amend gift voucher terms and conditions from time to time.

11. Electronic Mobility Scooter Hire

11.1 Guests must be 18 years or older to rent and operate an electronic mobility scooter.

11.2 For safety reasons, only the designated operator may use the scooter. Children and additional passengers are not permitted.

11.3 The maximum weight capacity for each mobility scooter is 35 stone (222 kg).

11.4 Mobility scooters must remain with the guest who rented them at all times.

11.5 Guests are expected to keep the mobility scooter clean and return it to the main building for sanitisation.

11.6 Scooters must not be taken outside the main park area.

11.7 Emerald Park is not responsible for any personal belongings left unattended on the scooter. Items are left at the hirer’s own risk.

11.8 The designated operator is liable for any damage to the mobility scooter or any property while in their possession.

11.9 If the scooter breaks down or experiences issues, a replacement will be provided, subject to availability.

11.10 All mobility scooters are regularly serviced and maintained in good working condition. Any damage or accidents involving the scooter will be the responsibility of the renter.

11.11 Mobility scooters are available for hire at a cost of €50. A €25 deposit will be refunded upon the scooter’s return to the main Admissions building in accordance with the hire conditions.

11.12 Failure to return the mobility scooter by the advertised park closing time will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

12 Emerald Park Membership Terms and conditions

Terms and Conditions 2025 Emerald Park membership is valid for 1 year from date of purchase (subject to opening hours).

Emerald Park will close December 23rd, 2025 –and reopens 2026 (subject to change).
Membership is for use by the named and photographed guests only and is not transferable under any Only named members on the card will be admitted and receive a wristband. Memberships found to be held by people, other than those named and photographed, will be retained by Emerald Park. Guests entitled to free entrance e.g., carers, can be named on a membership free of charge. Appropriate ID is required. Without valid ID, memberships cannot be processed.
Emerald Park requires a photograph for which consent is required. Memberships cannot be activated unless photographs are taken. For security and validation reasons, Emerald Park reserves the right to scan each member’s card upon entry. This will entail a member’s photo being made visible to the staff member on the till screen.
An adult must be present on each membership and children under 16 must be always accompanied by an adult 18+ or they will be refused
All members must book to visit in advance online. A deposit will be taken upon booking and released on the day of your visit. Emerald Park reserves a member’s allocation which operates on a first-come, first served basis. We advise advance booking, especially on peak days to avoid disappointment. Members will not be refunded any full-priced tickets purchased whilst holding valid membership.
Last admission to Emerald Park is 1 hour prior to official park closing time, however this may be increased at the discretion of management.
Membership is subject to some restrictions on usage dates, some additional charges at a special rate will be made available. Restricted dates include, but are not limited to, the following: Any themed and/or special events organized by or external to Emerald Park E.g., Halloween/ Christmas.
Membership cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers in Emerald Park. E.g., School tours, Christmas & Halloween, Corporate /Hotel tickets, Special Park Events/Offers Etc.
Any changes to membership, separate to set up and renewal, must be made by the main contact with the membership. The main contact must complete an amendment form and show valid ID to authorise the
Memberships cannot be sold to another party, resold/exchanged, or profited for, under any circumstance, and will result in cancellation without refund. Failure to comply with Emerald Park T&C’s will result in cancellation of the membership.
Emerald Park reserves the right to change the membership benefits/ terms/ prices at any time without prior

Should Emerald Park be forced to close due to exceptional circumstances outside of our control, Emerald Park will not be held responsible for any costs incurred, e., hotel, travel costs or otherwise. Further to this, Emerald Park will not offer refunds for the days being closed.
Emerald Park’s Rides & Attractions are subject to availability and may close for operational or technical reasons, seasonality, inclement weather, special events, or to ensure the safety and security of guests, or if Emerald Park reasonably considers the circumstances so require.

Members Benefits : Terms & Conditions

Membership card must be presented and in date at the time of purchasing a ticket or an item. Membership must be valid on date of visit. Photocopies or names on memberships will not be accepted.
No refunds will be issued in respect of producing membership card at a later date.
20% discount on retail/food & beverage is subject to fair usage. This discount will be applied to full price items only.
20% discount on retail/food & beverage will only apply to those named and photographed and will be limited to the amount of people per membership.
Membership benefits excludes external vendors, such as Twisted Chip, Sausies, Freestyle Beverages and Paid for Games.
If there is any doubt on likeness in photos, guest will be advised to visit the admissions department to update account details.

Members Upgrade Terms and Conditions

Receipts are only valid for date of purchase and visit and will not be extended. Receipts must be booked under one of the named adults on memberships.
A copy of your physical receipt that is issued on the day of your visit, must be presented at the time of membership purchase. Photocopies/pictures are not accepted. Email booking confirmation is not considered a valid receipt. The physical receipt issued upon check in from day of visit is required.
A maximum of 1 visit receipt can be used against the cost of membership. The receipt must be from the date that you choose to set up your membership. Multiple receipts/visits will not be accepted.
Membership upgrade will be “like for like”, e.g., if you purchase 6 tickets for your visit but only wish to upgrade to a 4-person membership, the maximum reduction in cost will be the ticket price for 4 persons.
Membership upgrade can only be used towards full price membership and does not apply to promotions. Only full priced tickets can be used towards a membership upgrade. Discounted tickets or Promotional offers (admits one, school trips , birthday parties , Special events , hotel, promo and group visits etc.) cannot be used towards an upgrade.
