Role & responsibilities

As a Seasonal Team Member with the HBL Games Department, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring our guests have a truly immersive experience.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills & ability to work part of a team.
  • Assisting customers with their queries.
  • Work co-operatively & ensure support with colleagues throughout the season.
  • Perform all tasks to a high standard with a focus on customer safety, interaction & enjoyment, and communication with guests throughout their day in Emerald Park.

Areas of work

  • Customer service.
  • Supporting colleagues in games units.
  • Customer interaction.
  • Guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 17 years or older by March 29th, 2025.
  • Prior work experience is not a requirement and we welcome individuals who are entering the workforce for the first time.
  • This is a seasonal contract position. Estimated start date March 29th – September 28th, 2025. Contracts may be extended.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative & as a member of a team and go that extra mile.
  • Candidates with previous experience in cash handling, customer service, and EPOS sales will be considered favourably but not a prerequisite.

Full training will be provided to team members before commencing their work with the HB Team.
