This year we have chosen to partner with two wonderful, well-deserving charity organisations; The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation and Mental Health Ireland.
We are beyond happy to partner with two worthy causes and support in any way we can throughout the year.
The Jack and Jill's Children Foundation is an Irish children's charity that funds and delivers in-home nursing care and respite support for children with severe to profound cognitive delay, up to the age of 6. Another key part of the service is end-of-life care for all children up to the age of 6, irrespective of diagnosis. Jack and Jill's mission is to empower parents to care for their child at home in communities across Ireland because there is no care like home care for a Jack and Jill child. The charity currently supports over 400 families across Ireland.
Mental Health Ireland is the longest established mental health charity in Ireland. Throughout the Mental Health Ireland history, they have played a central role in reshaping how the public understand mental health challenges. The aim is to promote and enhance mental health, wellbeing and recovery for all individuals and communities. They work to support people with lived experience of mental health challenges and their supporters and family members in their recovery. Mental Health Ireland continue to strive to create a culture where everyone is respected and supported, especially when mental health is challenged.
There are a number of reasons we have decided to work with The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation and Mental Health Ireland.
At Emerald Park, we are all about adventure and wonder, encouraging the creation of unforgettable experiences and memories with loved ones. Jack and Jill’s ethos lies in providing families with ‘the gift of time’, a synergy with our own mission. We are delighted to be able to support the foundation and hope to provide many Jack & Jill families with a memorable day out, one to treasure for years to come.
We understand and appreciate the importance of mental health support, particularly with employing a large number of individuals throughout the year. We believe that our partnership with Mental Health Ireland can help support our staff and spread critical messaging around wellbeing and awareness. Our partnership has enabled us to develop a Zero Tolerance Policy for Abuse which is fully enforced for our staff’s wellbeing.
