We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with outstanding communication skills & attention to detail to join our Retail team!

Our team is dedicated to delivering engaging and unforgettable guest experiences. Team members will have the opportunity to interact with every guest, making a passion for exceptional customer service indispensable. The Retail team member will work alongside like-minded people in many of the park’s fantastic shops and photo units.

Role & responsibilities

As a Seasonal Team Member in our Retail Department, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our guests and to identify the needs of our customers and make recommendations to increase sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring our guests have a truly immersive experience.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Selling world class merchandise to park visitors.
  • Assisting customers with their queries and purchases.
  • Work co-operatively, good communication and ensure support with colleagues throughout the season.
  • Perform all tasks to a high standard with a focus on customer safety, interaction & enjoyment, and communication with guests throughout their day in Emerald Park.

Areas of work

  • Till points at our Gift Shops, Photo units & more.
  • Customer service.
  • Supporting colleagues in main gift shop & photo units.
  • Welcoming guests on arrival into our different shops.
  • Customer interaction and assistance

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 17 years or older by March 29th, 2025.
  • Prior work experience is not a requirement and we welcome individuals who are entering the workforce for the first time.
  • This is a seasonal contract position. Estimated start date March 29th – September 28th, 2025. Contracts may be extended.

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative & as a member of a team and go that extra mile.
  • Ability to adapt & respond effectively to challenging situations whilst maintaining a professional approach.
  • Candidate will need to be flexible, have an adaptable approach to their work and have a can-do attitude.
  • Candidates with previous experience in cash handling, customer service, and EPOS sales will be considered favourably but not a prerequisite.
