Our primary school fun trip is an all-inclusive fun-packed day for students. This package includes unlimited access to over 35 attractions*, and access to the zoo, home to over 250 animals. Students have the freedom to explore the park at their own pace.

Join us as students investigate different ecosystems. Students will learn about some of the animals, and how they thrive in their habitats. We will delve into different adaptations and how they help animals survive in the wild.
This tour is suitable for 1st – 6th class and can be adapted to suit several different age groups. It is designed to tie in with the Living Things and Environmental Awareness and Care strands of the SESE curriculum. It is available during our off-peak season.

Join us as students investigate why food is important. Students will learn all about animals different feeding behaviours, and how and what we feed our animals. We will explore the different feeding adaptations of our species.

Included in a primary school package during peak season is full day entry to Emerald Park with unlimited use of the attractions and zoo access. For guided tours, you must meet your tour guide at the designated meeting point 15 minutes before your tour begins.
Please note: if your time at Emerald Park is limited then you may not get to experience all available activities.
Each school will be allocated a tour time upon arrival. Tour times are allocated to compliment school arrival/departure times as well as park operations, this helps to ensure the best possible experience for all visitors of Emerald Park!
Emerald Park is an outdoor park. Everything will operate as normal for your tour should it rain (with the exception of inclement weather). However, we do advise to bring rain gear and a change of clothes if rain is expected. If you come prepared you will still have a fun day out!
A 25% deposit must be paid within 14 days of booking and full payment must be made before groups are permitted to enter the park. All deposits are non-refundable.
All school tours must be pre-booked.
Yes, for 2025 school tours we will be offering a School Tour Queue Assist Pass (QAP). This will allow a student with additional needs a reduced wait time* for themselves, one carer over the age of 18, and 1 accompanying friend on 6 attractions.
*it does not guarantee immediate or unrestricted access to a ride or an attraction and return time may be given. T&Cs apply.
Not all guests with additional needs can avail of our QAP. As with our general QAP, it is reserved for guest with additional needs who may have difficulty waiting in line for longer periods of time. Supporting documentation to state the child’s inability to queue will be required. Student/pass holder must be accompanied by a carer aged 18 or older on all rides & attractions, 1:1 on a guest to carer ratio.
A teacher/carer cannot be named as a carer on multiple passes. Should your group require additional adults to accompany you on your school trip in order to fulfil the QAP requirements, please let our team know in advance and we will add additional carers to your booking free of charge.
